What is a Knowledge Exchange Net?

A Knowledge Exchange Net brings together people who wish to share and exchange some knowledge, be it about the learning of a language, a recipe, the discovery of one’s neighbourhood, information about a country or a region of the world…

These exchanges are free of charge.

What is the basic principle of the Nets?

Everyone knows something

Everyone is capoable of acquiring and passing on knowledge

Knowledge Exchange Nets got their inspiration from the charter written by the MRERS (France)

Who is a Knowledge Exchange Net intended for?

For everyone

Knowledge Exchange Nets are intended for any person who wishes to exchange some knowledge in a relation of mutual respect.

What kind of exchanges does
a Knowledge Exchange Net offer?

Knowledge Exchange Nets do not necessarily bring together two persons only. For example: Laurence is teaching massaging to Florence, who is showing the basics of data processing to Mamadou; Mamadou has offered to give a talk on peul marriages. In the audience, we find Graciela, who is initiating a few persons into Qi-gong; one of these persons is Marie-Ange, who has proposed to do French conversation with Sina, who is showing Michel and Graciela how to make Iranian pastries. The latter are taking part in Art Nouveau tours guided by Nathalie, who has joined Jean’s “country walks” group…

How to participate?

Just inform one of the Knowledge Exchange Nets organizers about the “knowledge” you are looking for and the “knowledge” you are prepared to offer. The organizing team brings together the “knowledge-offering” person and the “knowledge-seeking” person, who agree on the practical arrangements of the exchange: contents, learning methods, duration, frequency, place and time of meetings..
